Virtualitics, Inc.; United States; Remote; USD 110,000 - 150,000; Full time

Job summary

Virtualitics, Inc. is seeking a design lead to own end-to-end design problems across multiple projects. You will shape UX at kickoff, then hand off to teams as work matures, defining interactions for agent-driven experiences and enforcing consistent error handling across deployments.

You will extend our design system, establish prototypes in Figma or code, and lead UX reviews to ensure high-quality output before shipping. Mentorship of junior designers is also expected.

Responsibilities

• Own ambiguous, loosely scoped design problems end to end across multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction
• Serve as the primary design point of contact on engagements: shaping UX heavily at kickoff, then transitioning ownership to the project team as the work matures
• Define interaction patterns for agent-driven experiences, including how users interact with agents, how responses are structured, how follow-on actions chain, and how errors surface consistently across deployments
• Leverage and extend our design system and component library, strengthening the patterns that PMs and engineers compose from every day
• Establish design prototypes in Figma, Claude, or code that set the design framework a project team inherits
• Lead UX reviews of features, features, agent responses, generated UI, and layouts ensuring a high quality output before shipping
• Use workflows, journey maps, and service mapping to ground your rationale and bring cross-functional partners along
• Help shape scope, timelines, and cross-functional alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success
• Mentor less experienced designers and raise the standard of critique
