Amazon OpenSearch Service is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience for core OpenSearch workflows, including agentic search and observability. You will be embedded in builder pods, shape product decisions, and ship production-grade designs informed by research.

• Own the end-to-end design for a core OpenSearch experience from framing to post-launch measurement.
• Define agentic search experiences: intent expression, planning, reasoning, and trust in results.
• Work inside a builder pod to shape build order and impact, not just visuals.
• Design for high-volume data: relevance, vector/semantic search, dashboards and observability.
• Define observability interfaces where agent reasoning and findings are surfaced.
• Lead research cycles and trust-calibration studies feeding roadmaps.
• Contribute to and extend the OUI design system for consistency at scale.
• Collaborate daily with PMs and engineers to balance user needs with constraints.
• Mentor designers and propagate reusable patterns across the team.
