Job summary

Amazon OpenSearch Service is seeking a Product Designer III to own end-to-end design for core OpenSearch experiences, including agentic search. You will work with product and engineering in a builder pod, shaping what gets built from framing to production and measurement.

You will embed research-informed design in production, push the OpenSearch design system, and help ensure trust and clarity in dense, high-volume data interfaces, partnering with PMs and engineers across the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Available online portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design for a core OpenSearch experience—from problem framing and research through interaction design, visual craft, production implementation, and post-launch measurement.
• Define the experience for Winnow/agentic search: how users express intent, how the agent surfaces planning and reasoning, and how results earn trust.
• Embed in a builder pod with product and engineering to shape what gets built and in what order.
