Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in product counseling for consumer devices.
• JD and CA license or qualification to practice in California.
• Experience with software licensing and open-source issues.
• Ability to translate engineering concepts into practical legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Advise product and engineering teams throughout development, launch, and ongoing support.
• Counsel on software and firmware licensing, open-source issues, and connected-device support.
• Review consumer experiences, terms, disclosures, marketing claims, and regulatory requirements.
