Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience focused on product counseling for consumer devices or software embedded in hardware.
• Experience in-house or at a technology-focused law firm with cross-functional exposure.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Advise product, engineering, design and business teams from development through launch and support.
• Provide broad product counseling on consumer experiences, user terms, disclosures and regulatory requirements.
• Support software licensing, open-source, compatibility, and ongoing device support.
• Coordinate on product, IP, privacy, security, competition and regulatory issues to align with business goals.
• Build practical guidance and review processes; adapt to changing priorities across teams.
