You will work with engineers, product and design teams from development through launch, addressing IP, privacy, regulatory, and commercial issues that arise with device software and connected services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in consumer devices and embedded software.
• Experience counseling for software embedded in hardware.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into practical legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on product, IP, privacy, security, and regulatory issues for hardware/software products.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and business teams throughout development and launch.
• Develop processes and guidance to streamline compliance and risk management.
