Google is seeking a Product Counsel on the Core+ Legal team in Austin, TX. You will advise on novel projects, support Core and gTech initiatives, and help deliver cohesive, trusted experiences for users, developers, and Googlers.

Responsibilities include guiding on AI transformations, privacy protections, and security threats while partnering with legal and business teams to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance across Google-wide products and launches.

Qualificações

• JD, LL.B., equivalent degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
• Admitted to the bar and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the posting state.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on a strategic portfolio of products within Core, gTech or key Business Functions with Google-wide impact.
• Identify and solve complex issues in areas such as generative AI, agentic development, privacy, IP, open source, competition, content moderation/safety, accessibility, and consumer protection.
• Provide risk-calibrated guidance to enable compliance with existing and new laws.
• Collaborate with other legal teams, business teams, and cross-functional partners.
