Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active state bar.
• 6–8 years of product-focused legal experience in tech.
• Experience advising Product/Engineering through the full development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data use/licensing, IP, AI/ML, privacy frameworks in product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal partner to Product and Engineering, advising on launch across TRM's product portfolio.
• Advise Blockchain Intelligence and Data teams on data collection, licensing, and data use.
• Counsel on AI/ML feature development, training data, transparency, and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on IP matters including ownership, licensing, and open-source use.
• Draft product-facing terms, including terms of service and data terms.
• Partner with Privacy Counsel on privacy implications of specs, architectures, data flows.
• Identify legal/regulatory risks in features and suggest mitigations.
• Build scalable legal frameworks, playbooks, and self-service resources.
• Collaborate with Legal on regulatory matters, commercial agreements, special projects.
