The role emphasizes AI and data privacy compliance, drafting product terms, and advising on complex commercial arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bar admission with 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal role.
• Experience with software/cloud/SaaS products and licensing matters.
• Ability to manage legal requests from multiple internal clients and multiple projects.
• Exceptional writing and oral communication skills to distill complex issues.
• Experience with privacy, data protection and data use issues; CIPP/E is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance to product management and engineering teams across the product lifecycle.
• Develop relationships with business, sales, engineering, operations, finance and legal teams to bring products to market.
• Advise on AI, privacy, data protection, regulatory issues and IP in collaboration with global legal experts.
• Draft and maintain product-specific terms and disclosures.
• Be a proactive team player and assist where needed.
