Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Principal Corporate Counsel to join our Networking & Collaboration Product Legal team, supporting Campus Networking and Webex. You will provide concise legal advice to executives and engineers, balancing risk with business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with product, sales, engineering and other teams to guide AI, privacy, regulatory and IP matters, while drafting disclosures and terms for go-to-market programs.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house role, preferably transactional/product counseling.
• Experience with software/cloud/SaaS licensing matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance to product management and engineering teams on services, products and features throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop close working relationships with business, sales, engineering, operations, finance and legal teams to bring products to market.
• Advise on AI, privacy, data protection, regulatory issues and IP matters in collaboration with global experts.
• Draft and maintain product legal collateral, such as disclosures and product-specific terms.
