Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, AI & Legal Technology to serve as a senior legal advisor on AI, product development, and legal tech. You will monitor AI law, develop policies, and negotiate terms with vendors while guiding product launches and GTM strategies.

The role collaborates closely with Engineering, Product, Partner, and Strategy teams to enable responsible growth. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of AI regulation, strong communication skills, and experience in technology

Qualifications

Six or more years of in-house or law firm experience supporting technology initiatives, including AI, data, and tech issues.
Experience with software development, open source licensing, API terms, SaaS agreements, and platform policies.
Knowledge of FTC and state marketing laws.

Responsibilities

Serve as the go-to legal advisor for AI, product development, and marketing.
Monitor AI law developments and translate complexity into guidance.
Develop internal policies and contract language aligning with laws.
Negotiate terms with vendors, ISVs, and strategic partners.
Advise on product launches and GTM strategies with practical approaches.
Partner with engineering, product, marketing, and strategy teams to enable growth.
Improve processes and standard practices for efficiency.
Utilize AI tools to increase legal team efficiency.
