Job summary

DoorDash is hiring an experienced Senior Counsel to join our Product Legal team, supporting Dasher Logistics, the Commerce Platform, and Labs. You will help guide cross-functional projects from conception to launch.

You’ll advise on worker classification, AI/data governance, privacy, IP, and regulatory issues for domestic and international teams, partnering with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to shape new products and services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience.
• In-house experience required.
• Authorized to practice law in the U.S. state where you are located.
• Experience counseling on AI, data governance, privacy, IP, and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution-oriented legal guidance to product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with business partners to manage legal risk.
• Develop practical guidance on worker classification, AI/data governance, privacy, IP, and data licensing.
• Partner with the legal team to deliver holistic guidance across disciplines.
• Build playbooks and processes to scale advisory work.
