Job summary

Meta is seeking a seasoned Communications Manager for Threads to shape product and creator narratives through strategic comms. You will drive go-to-market moments and ongoing storytelling, collaborating with product, policy, legal, and international teams to land bold, proactive messaging.

You will develop blogs, social content, executive briefing materials, and multi-channel campaigns that resonate with both consumers and creators, while integrating AI tools to enhance workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in communications for a consumer technology company or agency
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations or similar field
• Experience distilling product concepts into plain language for non-expert audiences
• Experience creating messaging materials, and partnering with cross-functional partners including Product, Legal, Marketing, Public Policy, Partnerships
• Preferred: crisis or issues communications frameworks for high-visibility product or policy matters

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams for go-to-market product moments to land our message
• Execute against a strong communications program that encompasses earned media and content-first tactics for consumers and creators
• Collaborate with the larger international comms teams to run successful product launches, communications campaigns, and ongoing storytelling in our priority markets
• Develop a wide range of communications materials including blog posts, social media posts, communications plans, statements, briefing materials for executives and more
