Job summary

Vanta is building the intelligence layer that reads across our sources of truth and makes them queryable and explainable for EPD leadership, GTM, and beyond. As a Senior Product Builder, you will own the end-to-end development of prototypes, internal tools, and agent workflows, shipping work you’re proud of rather than handing it over as specs.

You will scope ambiguous problems, evolve your approach with recent AI tooling, and influence how other teams use the layer to answer hard questions.

Responsibilities

• Build the intelligence layer that reads across Vanta's sources of truth and makes them queryable and reasoned-over.
• Scope the problem yourself, make explicit tradeoffs about what to defer, and own the sequence of what gets built and when.
• Ship prototypes, internal tools, and agent workflows — using AI as part of how you work, not what you report on.
• Understand the organization by engaging GTM, G&A, and EPD teams to learn what they can't answer today.
• Catch and address AI-specific quality problems — reliability, cost, latency, drift, bad answers — before they cause damage.
• Build on top of what the Signal Collection and EPD OS roles are constructing; understand what's trustworthy and what's coming.
• Scope ambiguous problems without waiting for the mandate, showing unpolished work and learning when to push ahead alone.
• Ship real things with LLM tooling and evolve your approach as the field changes.
• Influence GTM and G&A through what you build and how you communicate, not through authority.
• Know what quality means when building with AI: reliability, cost, latency, edge cases, drift, and durable improvements.
