Job summary

Top Quality Recruitment (TQR) seeks a Sales & Business Development Executive based in or near Arizona to identify, prospect, and close new customers nationwide in retail, wholesale/distribution, and foodservice. You will own the pipeline end-to-end from first contact through first load and represent the company at customer visits and industry events.

Key activities include presenting the full product offering, negotiating pricing and terms, and converting trial orders into recurring programs

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of sales or business development experience in the fresh produce industry.
• Working knowledge of how US produce buyers operate: retail, wholesale, distribution, and/or foodservice procurement.
• Track record of opening new accounts, not just servicing existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and close new customers across retail, wholesale/distribution, and foodservice nationwide.
• Develop a target list and pipeline; own it end-to-end from first contact through first load.
• Present the full product offering, negotiate pricing and terms, and convert trial orders into recurring programs.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for every customer you bring in.
• Expand each account over time: more items, more weeks, more volume, more locations.
• Anticipate customer needs and feed them back to the Managing Director to shape sourcing and new product additions.
• Coordinate with the Managing Director and operations on availability, pricing, logistics, and order fulfilment.
• Track pipeline, sales, and account performance and report on them regularly.
• Represent Agricola Cactus at customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
