Job summary

X-energy LLC seeks a Procurement Administrator IV to manage end-to-end procurement for direct and indirect purchases. You will identify sources, negotiate terms, and administer purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with federal and company policies.

The role involves preparing RFQs, vendor analysis, tracking performance, and guiding junior team members. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site and remote days is offered, based in Rockville/Gaithersburg area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field. Relevant years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Typically, ten years of experience in procurement/contracts administration is required.
• Experience conducting complex negotiations.
• Advanced experience with federal purchasing procedures, and/or knowledge of commercial procurements.
• Extensive understanding of federal government regulatory guidelines, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue requests for proposals for purchases of goods and services, and conduct vendor selection in compliance with federal, customer, and company policies and procedures.
• Respond to purchase requisitions with identification of multiple vendors, and vendor selection analysis.
• Identify distinct requirements, provisions, and terms and conditions for vendor agreements.
• Generate and disseminate information to stakeholders throughout the company regarding purchasing status, compliance, modifications, negotiations, vendor availability, and vendor selection analysis.
• Review and track vendor performance and invoices for accuracy and facilitate the approval process.
• Resolve issues with customers and vendors.
• Generate and negotiate change orders and modifications as needed.
• Maintain approved vendor list through verification that they are not listed on the EPL or the Denied Parties List.
• Support company proposal efforts as necessary.
• Maintain procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain all documents, reviews, and awards in an organized, detailed, and centralized filing system, and ensure all procurement files are compliant.
