X-energy LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to implement the Supply Chain Process, serve as the primary liaison with suppliers and stakeholders, and leverage data to drive strategic improvements. The role is based in Gaithersburg, MD, with in-office work four days per week.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and typically three years in a supply chain role, with travel up to 10% across sites. Compensation reflects Maryland state laws and ranges from $79,875 to $104,625.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or business.
• Typically, three years of experience in a supply chain role.
• Experience in material planning and scheduling.
• Demonstrated supply chain management, contract management, project management, and change management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of category and supply management concepts.
• Demonstrated data analysis capability.
• Availability for travel across company sites and supplier locations.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Ability to hold Suppliers accountable for performance.

Responsibilities

• Establish major material and service agreements for complex, high-risk categories and support sourcing initiatives.
• Participate in periodic special projects and complex sourcing activities.
• Ensure on-time category procurements (including tactical).
• Resolve supplier performance issues and emergent issues.
• Maintain primary contact for resolution of systemic/recurring supplier/customer issues.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and end customers.
• Monitor supplier performance to meet contract terms and customer expectations.
• Lead or support supplier relationship development programs and meetings.
• Prepare category plans, perform spend and risk analysis, design negotiation strategies, and manage contracts within categories.
• Provide direction to contract administrators and procurement staff within spend categories.
• Identify and implement sourcing and category management best practices.
• Identify category risks and align profiles with business needs.
