Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead cost management, procurement execution, and subcontract administration across diverse high-profile projects. The role requires field experience, ownership, and a collaborative mindset to drive commercial outcomes and value for clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement, estimating, or construction management experience on large-scale projects.
• Direct, hands-on experience with subcontractors and commercial outcomes.
• Experience managing subcontracts through full execution and change management.
• Proficiency with cost management: GMP reconciliation, cost-to-complete, and reporting.
• Proven ability to build reliable basis-of-cost documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own cost tracking from bid to subcontract execution and maintain a current view against budget.
• Reconcile subcontract values against GMP and flag variances early for informed decisions.
• Build and maintain basis-of-cost files with rates, allowances, and negotiations.
• Assess cost impact of changes before approval and price accordingly.
• Track cost-to-complete across scopes and flag overruns and rebuy risk.
• Support Owner-facing cost reporting and maintain open-book documentation.
