Job summary

Clayco is seeking an Assistant Director of Procurement & Purchase Order Operations to lead procurement activities for its construction projects. You will review, negotiate, and advise on purchase orders and related contracts, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of materials and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in purchasing within construction or a related field, is a proactive team player, and can navigate complex vendor agreements and NDA/credit terms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in purchasing and the construction industry or related field.
• Familiarity with construction and/or design industry.
• Understanding of purchase orders, procurement contracts and subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, negotiating, and advising on purchase orders and related contracts.
• Reviewing ancillary contracts like confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
• Assist with PO-related claims and disputes, including notices and investigations.
• Assist with contract compliance matters.
