Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to be based on the construction project site, providing high-level support to ensure quality and timely execution from design to completion. You may run smaller projects, mentor junior staff, and take on additional responsibilities to become a Project Manager.

The role involves scheduling, subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, owner coordination, safety programs, and a fast-paced environment across Northwest projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required.
• 3–7 years of experience managing construction projects over $5M, ideally design-build.
• Proven knowledge of construction principles, practices and technology.

Responsibilities

• Participate with project team in development of a Project Chart of Accounts.
• Coordinate site logistics plan with Project Superintendent.
• Assist in management of subcontractors and change orders.
• Oversee submittal, pay request process, and cost reporting.
• Assist in generation of project costs and Job Cost Reports.
• Contribute to quarterly Total Cost Projections.
