The Senior Procurement Engineer will be responsible for verifying quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries at Westinghouse—from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. This role involves evaluating new and existing suppliers, interfacing with customers, managing multiple projects, and reporting on opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci, and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Assessment:
   • Drive/support supplier identification and down selection.
   • Support supplier audits and technical evaluations.
   • Assist in NDA/PIA negotiations.
   • Lead RFQ package creation, including technical and quality requirements.
   • Participate in supplier design proposal and compliance reviews.
2. Supplier Oversight:
   • Create manufacturing and process plan estimates.
   • Execute supplier QA witness and hold points.
   • Collaborate with project management and supplier quality support organizations.
3. Supplier Development & Management:
   • Lead kick-off meetings with suppliers.
   • Conduct regular meetings with suppliers and project teams.
   • Manage project support team execution and supplier QA activities.
   • Coordinate purchase order changes and provide project updates.
   • Ensure completion of supplier PO scope and quality documentation.
   • Oversee shipment arrangements and documentation archiving.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in power generation, nuclear, or related industries.
• Knowledge of programming software is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to travel for project support and supplier development.
