Job Description

TEMP SR. BUYER/BUYER – REMOTE OPPORTUNITY

Responsibilities: The Buyer/Sr. Buyer is responsible for activities spanning the entire procurement cycle, leading full life cycle (“cradle-to-grave”) purchasing activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Preparation of solicitation packages for vendors related to Prime Proposal and existing programs.
  2. Evaluation of vendor proposals, conducting price analysis, resolving issues, negotiating, and finalizing PO documents and modifications.
  3. Reviewing all FAR/DFARS/Agency/contract provisions, statements of work, terms and conditions.
  4. Coordinating and reviewing required vendor forms and certifications.
  5. Completing and maintaining the entire procurement file.
  6. Ensuring compliance with contract specifications and deliverables throughout the contract lifecycle.
  7. Meeting CPSR requirements.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with different subcontract types such as FFP, T&M, Cost Plus, and hybrids is highly desired.

Experience working in a CPSR environment and with CostPoint is required.
