RTX Corporation in the United States is seeking a procurement professional to lead sourcing and subcontract activities across multiple programs in the Product Support business area. You will manage supplier performance, negotiate terms, and oversee the acquisition lifecycle from requirements through delivery and payment.

The role emphasizes DoD regulations, regulatory compliance, and close collaboration with programs and engineering teams. Remote U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree.
• Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export regulations.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations/Proposals.
• Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations, price, delivery, scope, terms & conditions.
• Place purchase orders and associated change orders.
• Prepare POs and PO documentation in accordance with company directives, prime contract flow downs and company work instructions.
• Post-award management of POs to be handled in accordance with company directives and work instructions.
• Issue and conflict resolution of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials).
• Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives.
• Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.
• Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.
• Ability to travel as required.
