Job summary

Augmentis is representing a client seeking a procurement professional to support two major procurement teams, ensuring secure supply, cost savings, and process optimization. The role includes preparing RFQs, negotiating terms, and onboarding suppliers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position offers relocation assistance to Connecticut's Litchfield Hills, with an option to work remotely for the first 30–60 days while settling in.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status (citizenship or green card).

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and proposals based on Plant requirements.
• Review quotations and perform cost analyses for best value.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times aligned to Plant goals.
• Place and manage purchase orders to support production and inventory.
• Track invoices and resolve issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Reconcile shipping documents with Receiving.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Operations, Maintenance, Eng., QA, AP, Facilities.
• Onboard new suppliers and item setups.
• Ensure adherence to procurement procedures for audits.
• Provide excellent support to overall operations.
