Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a procurement professional to support two major procurement teams, driving sourcing strategies, securing supply, reducing costs, and streamlining processes to align with the production schedule and value delivery. The selected candidate will have relocation covered to Northwest Connecticut's Litchfield Hills, with an optional 30–60 day remote onboarding to settle in and join the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• ITAR: U.S. person status required (citizen or green card).
• Willingness to frequently visit the shop floor to understand Plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and RFPs based on Plant requirements.
• Review quotations and perform cost analyses to determine best value based on price, schedule, quality, and capability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times that align with Plant goals.
• Place purchase orders based on approved requisitions to support production and inventory needs.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Accounts Payable, Facilities to resolve plant issues.
• Ensure company procurement procedure compliance is met for audits.
• Provide excellent support to overall business operations.
