Job summary

Augmentis Group supports a major client in Northwest Connecticut recruiting a Procurement Specialist to back two procurement teams and optimize sourcing for production schedules.

You will issue RFQs, analyze quotes, negotiate terms, place and track POs, and ensure procurement compliance while supporting supplier onboarding and continuous improvement. Relocation paid; 30–60 days remote transition offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare request for quotes and proposals based on Plant requirements.
• Review quotations and perform cost analyses for best value.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times.
• Place and maintain purchase orders to support production and inventory.
• Monitor invoices and resolve issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve Plant issues.
