Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Process Support Engineer (PSE) to guide products from concept to qualification.

You will provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, diagnostics, and service of complex systems used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips. You will work with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge processes, perform data analysis and DOEs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure peak tool performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or similar high-tech industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field.
• Experience with on-site installation and diagnostics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
• Provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment.
• Analyze data and perform DOEs to support process development.
