Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Process Integration Engineer to advance new technology development, device targeting, and yield improvements in a 5-day onsite role in Austin, TX. You will work on 8/10/14/28nm process flows and perform DOE-driven investigations to identify weak points and verify results with TEM/SEM measurements.

The role requires a physics/chemistry/EE/CE/materials science background with 2+ years in semiconductors; FinFET integration experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2+ years in the semiconductor industry.
• Solid understanding of FinFET technology integration.
• Experience designing, executing and analyzing experiments with DOE.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects related to new technology development and qualification, yield improvement, and KPI improvements.
• Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments.
• Analyzing data with statistical methods and presenting results to leadership for decision-making.
• Troubleshooting yield, defect, and electrical performance issues.
• Developing Change Point Management plans.
• Communicating technical information through presentations.
