Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Product Engineering professional to own and drive yield, qualification, and process-optimization initiatives. You will work across Process, DFM, Test, Device, Mfg, and Customer teams to ensure manufacturability, translate wafer-sort data into actions, and push for robust product performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with data-driven yield analysis and failure-mode investigation.
• Strong data mining and statistical analysis using wafer-sort, etch etc. data.
• Familiar with NPI and technology qualification phases in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Process, DFM, Test, Device, Mfg and Customer teams to ensure manufacturability and translate test results into actionable improvements.
• Provide silicon analysis across data sources to model yield and identify process variations.
• Identify trends and develop mitigation strategies to resolve yield and defect challenges.
• Monitor mass-production performance and work with fab engineering to root-cause issues and improve yield to targets.
• Develop defenses to detect issues early and improve process controls.
• Create and present professional briefings for executives and customers.
