Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an engineer to lead 2nm technology transfer, NPI, and process setup. You will monitor data to identify issues and drive improvements across fabrication modules, collaborating with yield, device, and quality teams to ensure smooth ramp and robust process control.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in CMOS/GAA technologies, and the ability to work across functional teams on tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or process integration.
• Experience with CMOS, FinFET, or GAA technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings and work cross-functionally.
• DOE, SPC, and data mining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nm technology transfer, NPI, process setup, qualification, and manufacturing readiness.
• Monitor inline, electrical, process, and yield data to identify issues.
• Support engineering lot execution, wafer disposition, and process changes.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support corrective actions for excursions and yield issues.
• Support DOE and process-window studies to improve stability and yield.
• Evaluate interactions between process modules and device performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support NPI activities and advanced-node ramp.
• Develop and maintain technical docs and specs.
• Drive continuous improvement in stability, quality, and execution.
