Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an engineer to lead 2nm technology transfer, process setup, and manufacturing readiness at our Taylor facility. You will monitor data, perform root-cause analysis, and drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues affecting yield and device performance.

The role requires a strong background in CMOS/FET technologies, data analysis, and DOE/SPC methods, with the ability to shift focus across projects and communicate clearly with teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nm technology transfer, NPI, process setup, qualification, and manufacturing readiness.
• Monitor and analyze inline, electrical, process, and yield data to identify issues.
• Support engineering lot execution, wafer disposition, process changes, and technical issue resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support corrective actions for process excursions and yield issues.
• Support DOE and process-window studies to improve process stability, yield, and performance.
• Evaluate interactions between process modules and their impact on device and product performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support NPI activities and advanced-node ramp.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and specs.
• Drive continuous improvement in process stability, yield, quality, and execution.
