Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a motivated Module Integration Engineer to join the 2nm GAAFET team. You will drive FEOL integration for RPMG and CTSDB modules, bridging unit process development and device performance, working across lithography, etch, deposition, and device physics.

You will partner with process, device, and layout teams to ensure manufacturability, perform DOE studies, analyze data, and drive corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field; industry experience can substitute for advanced degree.
• PhD preferred in materials science, chemistry, physics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience preferred, not required.
• Strong device physics knowledge and interfacial physics understanding.
• Experience with ALD/CVD, etch, CMP and related semiconductor processes.
• Programming in Python, R, SQL for data extraction and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and optimization of RPMG and CTSDB modules for 2nm node.
• Collaborate with Etch, CVD, ALD, CMP, Litho to manage process risks.
• Design of Experiments to evaluate process variation effects on electrical performance.
• Analyze data using statistical tools to correlate parameters with yield.
• Identify root causes of module failures and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in design reviews with Device and Layout teams for manufacturability.
