Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Device Integration Engineer to optimize transistor performance and target to maximize yield, reliability, and manufacturability on 14nm Derivative generation. You will collaborate across Fin/PC, SD, RMG/MOL, BEOL modules with integration and architecture teams.

The role requires understanding device physics interactions and delivering ideal transistor performance under next-gen tech conditions. 3+ years in semiconductor industry and a B.S./B.S.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Material Science, or related) required.
• 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience with technology, process & qualification development milestones to meet customer/industry specs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure targeting of ET trends to Specifications and analyze shifts or abnormality.
• Own Parametric Yield and WAT management for one or more accounts/products.
• Execute and analyze experiments to optimize Transistor performance and variability.
• Drive Task Force Teams to solve yield, performance, or reliability issues.
• Support unit process or process integration teams with evaluation of device impact at key change points.
