Job summary

Jobtailor in Clayton, NC seeks an operations analyst focused on continuous improvement to partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to optimize processes.

You will collect data, analyze performance metrics, and manage improvement initiatives, translating findings into actionable insights while facilitating training and maintaining dashboards. Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred; cGMP/FDA exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field and minimum of 2 years working in operations with experience in continuous improvement and/or project management.
• Advanced experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive changes.
• Preferred experience in a cGMP, FDA work environment.
• Preferred knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt).

Responsibilities

• Partner with department SMEs and cross functional teams to analyze and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
• Collect, analyze and propose data to measure performance indicators such as cycle time, yield, quality, and cost.
• Propose and manage process improvement initiatives, methodologies, and best practices.
• Maintain project schedules, deliverables, timelines, resources and drive cross functional team meetings.
• Establish and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track initiatives.
• Regularly report on KPI and present findings with insights and recommendations.
• Assist in developing and delivering training programs to promote continuous improvement principles.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in CI methodologies.
