Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Professional to analyze and improve complex business processes within the Strategy Enablement team, focusing on member experience, efficiency, and cost reductions.

You will lead data-driven projects, benchmark best practices, and work with PBM leaders to enable measurable improvements that enhance health outcomes and operational performance. This remote role requires a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations management.
• Proven Change Agent with influencing abilities.
• Analytical thinking with ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
• Strong project/program management and cost forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver a portfolio of process improvement projects achieving quantifiable annual cost savings.
• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing processes against benchmarks and strategy.
• Quantify initiatives with leadership to improve cost, quality, and outcomes.
• Influence cross-functional partners with data-driven storytelling.
• Lead projects through DMAIC/PDCA/Kaizen methodologies.
• Validate and report financial impact of initiatives.
• Indirectly lead cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
