Job summary

Medtronic’s North Haven site leads a manufacturing excellence program focused on needles, sutures, strands, and braided components. The Senior Business Process Improvement Analyst partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive site performance and continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading business process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
• Experience analyzing operational data, identifying performance gaps, and implementing measurable improvements.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving results with multiple functions.
• Experience using process improvement tools to improve productivity, quality, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide manufacturing excellence initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Develop and execute operational improvement strategies aligned with site objectives and performance targets.
• Analyze processes and data to identify opportunities and drive measurable results.
• Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies to reduce waste and strengthen process capability.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Review and improve manufacturing documentation and controls to support compliance.
