Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer - Manufacturing Process to design, develop, deploy and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve quality, cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers' products.

In this role you will lead the development and release of full manufacturing processes for new customer products, translate customer technical roadmaps into actionable process initiatives, and drive cost reductions using Design for Manufacturability (DFX) methodologies.

Qualifications

• The Senior Lead Engineer - Manufacturing Process leads design, development, deployment and optimization of manufacturing processes to hit quality, cost and delivery goals.
• Lead development and release of full manufacturing processes for new customer products.
• Provide feedback on customer requirements to team and management, aligning technical roadmaps with process capabilities.
• Develop costed, optimized feedback using Design for Manufacturability (DFX) tools to reduce cost and improve quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the customer’s technical roadmap and related process development projects.
• Lead and implement the development and release of the full manufacturing process for new customer products.
• Understand and provide feedback on customer’s technical requirements to team members and management.
• Develop and implement costed and optimized feedback using DFX tools to reduce manufacturing cost and improve quality.
• Develop, plan and lead the assessment of the capability of process applications using Design of Experiments.
• Devise process controls and data collection strategies and evaluate complex data to assist with reporting yield and root causes of failures.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication to management on critical technical and business issues.
