Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, seeks a Senior Process-Mechanical/Chemical Engineer to lead design of utilities for semiconductor and advanced technology facilities. You will direct PFDs, P&IDs, and piping designs, ensuring high-purity water systems, gas storage, and waste treatment meet strict standards.

You will manage project teams, mentor engineers, and coordinate with clients and regulators to ensure quality and compliance across multi-office projects in CA, OR, and beyond.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a PE license in Mechanical or Chemical (CA reciprocity preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years in design and construction within the AEC industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design projects in clean rooms, fabrication facilities, microelectronics, industrial R&D labs, and hospital environments.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and process piping designs.
• Design high-purity water, gas storage, and hazardous wastewater systems.
• Prepare equipment specifications and datasheets.
• Stamp and sign drawings and reports for regulatory submission.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities.
