Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Senior Process-Mechanical/Chemical Engineer to lead design of critical utility systems (PW, cooling water, gas storage, bulk gas, hazardous wastewater) for semiconductor facilities in CA or OR. You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and authorities, and drive project success.

The role requires a PE license (Mechanical or Chemical), 7+ years in design/construction, and strong proficiency with Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revit, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering Stamp — Mechanical or Chemical (CA reciprocity preferred).
• 7 years of design/construction experience in the AEC industry.
• Experience leading process system design in a consulting/AE firm.
• Semiconductor/microelectronics, R&D, clean room experience.
• Proficiency with Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revit, and MS Office.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects in clean rooms, microelectronics, and fab environments.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and process piping designs.
• Design high-purity water, gas storage/distribution, and wastewater systems.
• Prepare specs and datasheets for process equipment.
• Stamp drawings and calculations for authorities' submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and agencies for compliance.
• Provide construction administration support and site visits.
• Mentor and develop a process engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA and mechanical codes.
• Utilize Navisworks, Bluebeam and Revit for design coordination.
• Drive client satisfaction through project execution and relationships.
