Pave Talent is seeking a senior chemical engineer for a global specialty chemicals client, to design and scale production processes on site in central New Jersey. You will convert pilot data into plant designs, build hardware and drawings, and supervise startup activities.

The role requires deep reaction chemistry, experience moving chemistry from pilot to production, and the ability to travel up to 50% during construction. Relocation support and a 10% bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree required.
• Seven or more years taking chemistry from pilot to production, with time in both.
• Deep reaction chemistry and a track record of solving hard process problems.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to travel up to 50% during construction phases.

Responsabilités

• Turn pilot data into a plant design: the calculations, the hardware, the drawings and the model.
• Build and test prototypes, then stand next to them at startup on new sites.
• Run the experiments yourself to learn what drives the process.
• Step in when a process misbehaves, find the cause and hand a working process to the plant team.
