Job summary

Pave Talent is recruiting for a global specialty chemicals company with a newly commissioned Fremont plant. You will own critical process steps on plant-scale equipment, stabilize production in the startup phase, and lead capital-project scopes as the site expands.

The role requires a Chemical Engineering degree and 5+ years of hands-on process engineering experience, with proficiency in JMP or Minitab for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering required; chemistry-only background will not clear.
• 5+ years in process engineering or process development with hands-on production experience.
• Experience leading capital-project scopes in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to name and quantify yield, cycle time, throughput or cost.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize production in the first six months and troubleshoot until batches run clean.
• Lead the process scope of capital projects as the plant expands.
• Set up control charts, identify root causes, write procedures, and coach engineers and operators around you.
