Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Sr Process Engineer for a leading petrochemical organization in Pasadena, Texas. You will join the Process Engineering Department to support operational excellence and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include deriving operating targets, leading process scope development for capital projects, guiding incident investigations, implementing process improvements, and performing simulations to support decisions.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering is required and at least 5 years of process engineering experience in petrochemical or refining environments.
• TWIC card is required or must be obtainable by the candidate.
• Proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Proven planning and organizational skills with a strong analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Derive operating targets with the production engineer to optimize unit performance and economic efficiency.
• Conduct process scope development for capital projects, including justifications and conceptual design reviews.
• Participate in and lead incident investigations to enhance plant safety and environmental compliance.
• Implement process and capital improvements to increase production, reduce energy consumption, and lower operating costs.
• Perform process simulations and modeling to support operational decision-making and troubleshooting.
