Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. in Mont Belvieu, TX, seeks a Senior Field Process Engineer to provide process engineering support for plant and pipeline operations in the Houston region.

You will ensure upgrades meet engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and performance targets while supporting sustaining and expansion projects. The role reports to engineering leadership and involves collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Commercial, and Distribution to develop scope for capital

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in a refinery/chemical plant environment or related engineering within a continuous production facility.
• Experience with distillation, light hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, pipelines; underground storage is a plus.
• Familiarity with API Standards and OSHA 1910.119 (PSM).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; process modeling software such as Unisim (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work solo or in a team, handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance, and Commercial departments.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and develop remediation plans and designs.
• Perform plant simulations to establish baselines and estimate performance enhancements.
• Design calculations for sizing of equipment, control valves, lines and PSVs.
• Prepare project design scopes for capital projects and plant optimization.
• Review designs by outside contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Participate in PHA/HAZOP review meetings.
• Monitor field construction to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Perform PSSRs and manage change progression.
• Support environmental and safety with emissions/release calculations.
