Job summary

SSOE, a leading engineering firm, seeks a Senior Process Engineer and Office Leader in Austin to shape process utility infrastructure for advanced semiconductor facilities and mentor engineers. You’ll lead design across UPW, gas and chemical systems, and drive office growth, client partnerships, and project delivery in a collaborative design-build environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; active PE in good standing in the U.S. is highly valued.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience focusing on semiconductors and high-tech facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day oversight to process engineering teams.
• Lead design for complex semiconductor and high-tech projects from PFDs to P&IDs and construction docs.
• Develop hydraulic calculations, UPW and gas/chemical distribution systems designs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and guide process system modeling and code compliance.
• Coordinate cross-discipline collaboration and client-facing activities to ensure successful delivery.
