Job summary

Primoris Pipeline, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design for onshore oil & gas projects. You will develop the Process Basis of Design, perform heat and material balances, and drive PFD/P&ID development and line lists with cross-discipline teams.

Responsibilities include PSV/relief calculations, flare studies, hydraulic surge analysis, and flow-forecasting using steady state and transient simulations. Strong communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with midstream facilities or pipelines.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs and line lists.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, CFR/DOT regulations and API standards.
• Strong client interfacing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Process Basis of Design.
• Prepare heat and material balance for projects.
• Develop Process Flow and P&ID drawings; prepare Line List.
• Perform PSV/relief calculations, flare studies and hydraulic surge analysis.
• Conduct flow assurance calculations for steady state and transient piping systems.
