Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Maritime team. You will analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the hardware program.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
Ability to deliver process improvements in resource-constrained environments.
Leadership experience with teams and projects.
Experience manufacturing hardware via machining, fabrication, soldering, or assembly.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop process flows by breaking down large assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes.
Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements for hardware at scale.
Collaborate with contract manufacturers across disciplines to develop repeatable processes for rapid-turn and at-scale production.
Work hands-on with technicians and engineers to build prototype hardware.
Contribute to mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects and board fabrication/inspection.
Travel to suppliers to source, resolve issues, and implement quality procedures.
