Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA, seeks a Materials and Process Development Manager, NPI, to lead the materials and processes team in a cutting-edge maritime production environment.

You will drive rapid, on-time production for new maritime vehicles, integrating advanced materials and processes with internal and external partners. The role requires 10+ years in materials/process development and eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in materials and processes technology development, manufacturing engineering, and/or production/process engineering.
• Technology development experience in materials, automation, prototyping, and processes.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and own the materials and processes development solutions for new technologies supporting product and factory development and future production systems.
• Question requirements in product and production system design to ensure cost- and schedule-effective factory solutions.
• Support design, construction, commissioning and start-up of production systems at new factory sites and ensure delivery of factory and products on line.
• Provide strategic leadership on product processes, materials and technologies and reduce risk to meet production performance.
• Lead hands-on: set an example and expedite project completion.
