Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Materials and Process Development Manager, NPI, to advance maritime manufacturing. You will lead the team responsible for developing materials, processes and production systems for new maritime vehicles, integrating cutting-edge technologies and working with internal and external partners.

The role requires 10+ years in materials/process development and a track record of rapid factory readiness, plus the ability to drive design-for-manufacturing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as manager for materials and processes technology development, manufacturing engineering, and/or production/process engineering.
• Technology development experience in materials, automation, prototyping, and processes.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Create and own the materials and processes development team’s various solutions for new technologies supporting product and factory development, the future production system creation, integrating new materials and processes.
• Question requirements in product and production system design, and facility creation to ensure the most cost and schedule effective solutions for our factories.
• Support design, construction, commissioning and start-up of the production systems at new factory sites, ensuring successful delivery of the factory and products off the line.
• Provide strategic leadership on product processes, materials and technologies. Buy down risk to meet production performance and timelines in new facilities.
• Lead hands-on: set an example and expedite project completion.
