Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Materials and Process Development Engineer, Maritime, to drive efficient, rapid, on-time production for new maritime vehicles using cutting-edge materials and processes. You will develop and integrate materials across platforms, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver unified manufacturing solutions.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and eligibility to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an engineer for materials and processes technology development, manufacturing engineering and/or production/process engineering.
• Technology development experience in materials, automation, prototyping, and processes.
• Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment alongside operations and manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials and processes development solutions for new product and factory development and for future production systems.
• Integrate new materials and processes to improve production flow, space allocation and resource requirements.
• Question requirements in product and production system design to ensure cost- and schedule-effective factory solutions.
• Support design, construction, commissioning and start-up of production systems at new factory sites.
• Provide engineering support on product processes, materials and technologies to meet production performance timelines.
• Lead hands-on, set an example and expedite project completion.
• Collaborate with product design, manufacturing engineering, operations, facilities, EH&S, and finance, plus external vendors, for production system designs.
