Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Process Engineer to analyze and improve manufacturing processes, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver cost reductions and quality gains.

The role focuses on optimizing process capability, supporting supplier and internal processes, and maintaining thorough documentation such as SOPs and process flow diagrams. A strong hands-on troubleshooting mindset is essential.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience with OEE and SCADA systems preferred.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality.
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, vision systems, robotics and sensors.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Work with OEE and SCADA systems to monitor and improve performance.
Provide technical support to production teams for smooth operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Develop and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams and work instructions.
